My mother tossed all the coins she received as change into a big coin jar, then tally it up in December to purchase Christmas gifts for the great grandkids. She passed away last November, but had saved enough to fund this last gift. The grands love it and it always puts a smile on my face to think how happy she would be to watch them play. I docked a couple of points off ease of assembly because the instructions really are inadequate. Had I not found an immensely helpful You Tube video, I am not sure I ever would have gotten ti together. I gave it full stars for maneuvaribility but make no mistake - it is not easy to maneuver with a full base. If you fill the reservoir with water, it will be easy enough to drain and move. If you are ready to place it in a semi-permanent location, by all means fill with sand. Not too bad to assemble but really sturdy, and great shots off the backboard. Looks nice as well. This is a great value for a casual basketball hoop. The included guide was terrible but there was a very helpful video online. It took me about an hour to unbox and install. The hoop looks great.Like the title says this is a pretty standard home basketball goal. Not too bad to put together, sturdy and effective. My only gripe over this goal compared to some others I've seen is the ease of adjusting the height (specifically if you have kids that will need it lowered from time to time). Others have a very simplistic level locking system but this one you need to lay down, remove the bolt, slide the pole, find the new hole and put the bolt back through then tighten. Not a huge deal but if you see yourself wanting or needing to adjust the height on a regular basis, there are others that are a little easier, faster and less labor intensive.MY SON LOVE IT. I GOT IT FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND HE ENJOYED IT WITH HIS FRIENDS.We put it together at the height that we wanted and don’t plan on adjusting it. You def need at least two people to help put it together. We’ve had it for a few months now and the kids are getting so much use out of it. We filled the base with sand (may regret it later if we ever give it away because it’s HEAVY) but it is very sturdy. Of note- once you start assembling it, you can’t take it completely apart again. The main pole has two pieces that essentially fuse together when assembled. You can still remove the backboard and base but the assembled pole is permanent.I've enjoyed this hoop since buying it and I was to assemble it solo without some ease. However, I wish I had researched how annoying it is to adjust the height. My grade school kids like to play at times, but only for a few minutes, and you have to remove a bolt to change heights. I recommend looking at other hoops if you'll be in a similar situation. It is good enoughTodo muy bien, de acuerdo a lo descrito, fácil de armar siguiendo el instructivo, los materiales se ven de muy buena calidad, el envío fue rápido, incluso llegó antes,Funcional, se adapta a la altura de los niñosUn estupendo regalo para mi hijo y la familia.Straight forward assembly. Filled with sand...no funnel supplied, and one plug for two smallish filler holes. Very stable now, kids enjoying it (ages 10 & 13). Would get an opaque board next time to block the sun in the ol' eyesA great option but it is definitely a two person setup job.
